I'm pretty large on top (DD) and am looking for a 2 piece so at least I can have a tan back this summer. Most athletic looking tops leave half my boobs popping out the top. Does anyone have any suggestions on good lap swimming 2 pieces that have good coverage for "the girls"? Thanks

I would check out athleta.com or title9.com

This is me! I just ordered 3 swimsuits from swimoutlet....all three were dismal failure. 2 were lacking in the up top support dept. I was falling out. All 3 were Nike, btw. The "fastback", a strappy one and a tankini. The tankini was actually supportive (padding, shelf bra...great fit) but my abs are my best feature so I decided against it.

I have a great suit from title9 for D cups and its great but it is a strappy tie bikini. I have been looking for an athletic bikini w/ little luck so far. 1 style that has worked for me in the past is TYR maxback (not diamondback!) workout bikini. But they are hard to find in anything but solid colors and I like a print. Speedo makes one that I am trying next..."Quantum Splice". We'll see.....

+1
I find it very difficult to find swimsuits in my chest size (34D).  I'm always stuck buying separates, getting an XL in a halter top and a M bottom but they aren't supportive enough to be completely comfortable.  I got a swimsuit from athleta last season and the top is very supportive with the underwire and provides coverage without ordering 2 sizes too big.

Thanks - I've got an athleta bikini but the tie halter straps made for interesting laps today - by the time I noticed, I was basically out of the top and it was jsut about untied.

So with ya on this!  I have been swimming in a speedo 1 piece and my tan is horrid!  I looked at the two piece athletic suits, but they all seemed to be designed for smaller chested girls.  Post if you find something!

I'm a D cup too and I find the Speedo one pieces actually fit pretty well. I do have to go up a size but they aren't *too* big on the bottom. I also have a TYR that is cut more like a tri top and zips up the back and that keeps everything in place pretty well too.

It has been said before: this thread is useless without pictures.

OK I am an "aero-boob" girl so I don't really belong in this thread. Embarassed BUT I do have a few of the TYR "grab bag" 2-piece racing suits from swimoutlet.com ($14.99 when I purchased both times) and the top fits much snugger than the bottom. Just throwing it out there for those of you who need a snugger top to hold in the girls. I have no idea how 'supportive' it is but it's my favorite suit by far.
