Subject: RE: How to prepare bike for transition zonewurkit_gurl - 2009-06-28 11:07 PM If you're a true beginner, there is no real reason why you "need" to learn this trick. I disagree, depending on T1 setup. I did the "put the bike shoes on in T1" thing and T1 was a grass setup. Well my cleats got full of mud while running the bike out and I couldn't get clipped into my pedals for over a mile or so until the mud dried and I was able to knock it out. It really sucks to be pedalling with 1 foot! That said, if you know T1 is paved, no you don't need to learn this trick. Needless to say I no longer take my shoes off of my bike anymore. Every time I ride I practice getting in/out of the shoes while clipped in. |
