Kat - congratulations on going under 150!

Jo - I'm glad you're home and I hope you're able to feed your body well as you recover.

Back up to 155 (from 153 last week) - but I think I can attribute this mainly to.... ummmm.... female issues......

I'm stuck at 133 - despite the fact that I was 131 at my last weigh-in (Monday). At least I'm not up, I suppose. And if this is just general fluctuation, there's still a chance I could make goal by next Friday!

start - 206.5  Goal 200
week 1 - 205.0
week 2 - vacation
week 3 - 205.4
I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed considering I was on vacation for over a week and didn't get the chance to exercise and ate out every meal.   I only gained about half a pound.  But I thought I was doing pretty good and was hoping to at least maintain my weight.  I didn't over eat and skipped desert most of the time, which is good for me whether or not I’m on vacation.  I didn’t get in my workouts but we were pretty active the entire time.  The problem is that now I only have 9 days to reach my goal and five pounds in 9 days isn't good weight loss.  I hate missing my goals.  All I can do is watch what I eat and exercise and hope for the best.  Maybe I will start logging what I eat.  Maybe I'll find something there that will help.

Question for you folks.  My run Monday night was horrible.  Yes, I missed 10 days while on vacation but I've missed longer and haven't felt this bad and been unable to complete the run.  I couldn't even complete a mile without taking a walk break.  I felt winded and wiped out.  Could it be that I was at lower elevation for the last week or so?  I thought it would take longer to adjust to the elevation.  My swim last night wasn't as bad but I could still tell I wasn't up to par.  A few weeks ago I swam several laps without a break and I haven't been able to do that lately.  Any ideas?

July: 164.2/162.8/160.8
Today: 158.0
July goal: 160

End goal: 150

I find it takes a lot more time to adjust to higher elevation than it does to lose that adjustment at lower elevation.

I think my goal was like 294 or 5 for the month...

Still holding strong at 299, but that's not bad considering this week was brutal at work (both in terms of stress and food).

Hopefully next week I'll gain some cushion away from that dreaded 300 mark.

Still holding steady @ 149.6 -- I guess it's time to reassess calories in vs. calories out.

I weighed in at WW at 144.4, so I stayed the same.  I weighed myself on my scale this morning and I was 143.5, so I think my breakfast was still sitting in my tummy and weighing me down.  I am not going to freak out or anything and will merely assume that next week I will show a three or eight pound loss.

Congrats to the losers and the people about to make their monthly goal.

I am thinking it is the change of altitude more then anything.  A few days and you will be back to normal.

I first read that as "the change of attitude" and thought, wow!  Who would have thought that the trick to weight loss (or gain) was in your attitude???

okay I missed last week - away on a cruise I didn't want to be on

luckily if you're a vegetarian and a non-drinker, and you do at least one spinning class on the boat, you come off a few pounds lighter than when you started

weighed in at 198 this morning - broke 200 and my month-end goal of 198.5

never want to see a 2 at the far left side of the scale again

Okay, I did manage to weigh this morning before my flight, but am just now getting a chance to post it, 202.4 lbs....am in Key West and have had several drinks...great place. They are having Hemingway Days here right now which is hilarious...it is a Hemingway look alike contest.

Anyway, I did run 4 miles on the treadmill this afternoon as soon as we arrived and feel great for doing it, especially considering what I have done since!

Good night!

Stuck on 216

Had a breakthrough swim though, finished 800m without stopping.
