Subject: what's a fair price?
As a newbie, I saw this bike and wanted to know what would be a fair price to offer.
'07 Giant OCR3. Aluminum frame with Carbon front fork.
Upgraded from stock (shimano ultegra front and rear derailleurs and shifters, new lines, shimano front and rear 105 brakes.)
Factory wheels and tires (Alex DA22 wheels)
New chain and rear cassette.
Wheels true and no damage to frame.
~250 miles

Really?  I never would have guessed that.  What do you think is a fair starting price?

Craigslist? Ebay? Friend? I would say you are probably looking for as low as $500/$550 up to about $700. A lot depends on frame size and how much this person wants to get rid of it. If it is a really big or really small frame, they might have a harder time selling.

If it were me I'd offer $550 first, but wouldn't be opposed to paying up to about $750 since it has the ultegra components the carbon fork and is relatively new with only 250 miles on it.
