It's probably about 1/3 of my bike training & a much smaller portion of the overall training. Sundays are off days. What 5stones said! My long bike ride on Saturday skews the percentage (which will keep getting distorted through the build and peak phase of my training ), but my goal is to always take one of the weekend days entirely off. It is good for me to have a rest day from work AND training and with 2 small boys, I want a day for family, plus sleeping in is a bonus! So, this week was a 12:15 hour week, 3:45 of which was Saturday with Sunday off. That is 30% of my training this week on the weekend. Most week days are 1.5 hours - 2.5 hours of training, combo of morning and lunch workouts. |
