Tri-For-Fun sprint at Rancho Seco Park in Galt, CA! It doesn't get much better than this: doing a tri next to a shuttered nuclear plant and an African Hoofstock wildlife preserve! Laughing

Kinda funny and cool to see a resurrected thread

I'm not sure 'racing' is what I'll be doing, or even 'finishing,' (considering lack of training and recent accident), but I'm going to give the Bali 10K Ocean Swim a go.

I'm running a 10K trail race, the Jubilee Trail Run on Saturday, 8am.  It's at Jubilee College State Park near Brimfield, IL.  The website says it's "hilly and challenging".  Goody!  The very reason I run trails!  It will probably be a little warm, temps in the mid-70's at reac time, and humid.  Drink, drink, drink!

I'm looking for a little "trail 10K payback".  The last (and first) trail 10K I did was a debacle.  I hadn't yet recovered fully from a hip injury (I know--dumb!), and I got a pretty bad asthma attack.  I finished, but dead last.  Payback!!

My first tri will be the Big Shark New Town Tri in St. Charles, MO on Sunday! It's a slightly longer sprint so I'm a little nervous: .6 mile swim, 20 mile bike and a 5k.

Eastern region relay champs for me. My club Blackwater tri is entering 8 teams. None of which will trouble the leaders so we are going to have our own race. Barbecue afterwards if the rain goes away. Cant wait.
