offrhodes - 2009-07-09 4:08 PM Me.  The Black Fly Tri in Watervill Valley, NH sprint distance.  This will be my first tri.

next year you should get ready for this event

I saw that and if Waterville was not the same weekend I would be giong to Sugarbush.  The closer event won this time.  I will be at the Hanover, NH race though in August.

I was suggesting that so you can see what the pros do on the same course.  They're wicked fast! usually averaging over 15mph, then running sub 6's for a trail run.  They're all pretty nice too.

First of eight races over the next twelve weeks. Haven't hardly run in a month and my swimming sucks big time.

Not a USAT event, but will still have the racing amenities (chip timed...etc.)  I need the training!

For those doing Chattanooga, have a good race! Great event, challenging bike course and watch for the stairs on the run!

leftrunner - 2009-07-09 11:13 PM Inter-Rockin' Sprint Tri in Interlochen, MI.  My first!  I am overtrained for the Sprint, but deathly afraid of drowning.  If I get out of the water under 11' for 500M I will be ecstatic.  If I die, at least I upped my life insurance this week.

This could be a fun "vacation" tri weekend for us next year...something to think on.  Good luck in your race.  I'm sure you'll do great! :D

No a race, but I'll be picking up my new road bike today (Cervelo R3) and taking it on it's first long ride this Sunday for the American Cancer Society Bike-a-Thon. I'm signed up for 66 miles but there is a 100 mile option. I'm sure that with this bike I'll be pushing a lot harder this year! 3 hours?

Add me to the list of racers...well, not so much a racer as a fool, perhaps?  Doing the Super Spartan at Soldier Hollow near Midway, UT!  My team, the Mud Ninjas, consists of my 41 year old self and three strapping 18 year old guys.  Bring on the mud, barbed wire and fire pits!!!
