Subject: Bike mechanics question?

My Cervelo S1 developed a creaking in the bottom bracket about 20 miles into my ride Saturday AM. I stopped to check it out and I can wiggle the BB about .030. The movement is coming from the bottom bracket not the cranks. The crank arms are tight. Is there any adjustment to take up this slop? I assume they are cartridge bearings, but have never taken it apart.

Tighten up that if you can.  You may/may not need a crank removal tool to get to it.  It may just need some lube.

Maybe they can hook you up pretty cheap at your LBS.
