Subject: Moving to Denver!!
I officially accepted a position at Littleton Adventist today and will be heading from Florida with the family in just 3 weeks!!   We are excited and very nervous about the move.   We loved Colorado when we visited last week, but we have zero family or anyone we know there.....so it's scary.

However, we are extremely excited about a huge change in lifestyle going from hot and humid Florida where we've both lived our entire lives.   To beautiful and exciting Colorado!!!   We'll be moving to Parker to be exact.

Hoping to meeting some local BT'ers and get some bike, running, or swimming in.   I need to learn all the hot spots so holler at me if you'll be near me.

Totally pumped and excited!!

Congrats on your job and move!
I lived in FL for 10 years before moving to CO. It is a change but I am confident that you will be very happy here.
I know that there is a tri club in Parker but don't know much more then that. I am sure that others on this site can give you the info.  Let us know when you make it out here and we will do our best to get you aquainted with all the "hot spots"
Have a safe trip,
Kathleen

Congrats on the move. I think you will like it here. I grew up in Colorado then ended up moving to the Big Island of Hawaii for for years. We moved back to Denver last year and although I miss Hawaii I am very glad to be back in Colorado. We are actually moving this week from Denver to Parker so let me know when you get settled in Parker. From what I have been reading, Parker seems to be very bike friendly.

If you don't have a compact crank, might want to install one now

J/K...hope you have a safe and speedy relo. As others have said, CO is tough to beat in terms of weather (well, perhaps not lately, but overall), terrain and the outdoors.
