Chattanooga - who qualified for USAT Nationals? (Page 2)

The last time I looked I think it's August 14th but I also think the cutoff for athletes might be 1000.

I'm out, this is just not the year for me.

I know a lot of ppl are having trouble finding a room for the race.  I actually just found one at the Microtel Suites about 2 miles from the race site, and it looked like they might have a few left.  Other than that every other hotel even remotely close to the city I have checked has been booked.

If you go to the USAT website, they have a link to the race with a course preview.  I went over it the other day, and it had an elevation chart, and I think even a bike course video.  Seemed to be the norm compared to races around here, mostly rolling but not really any huge climbs on the bike or the run course.

Hey, thanks guys, that doesn't look too bad! Anyone know or heard anything about the swim? It looks like its going upriver a good ways... I wonder if there is a current at all

I registered today.  This will be a great last race/tune up before Augusta.

This really shouldn't be a problem.  I just booked a hotel today. 
Tuscaloosa is a football town.  Over 100,000 people will be there on game day weekend.  Hotels for 1000 athletes should be a problem. 

Just got an e-mail from USAT stating that registration closes Friday night (tomorrow) at midnight ... get that registration in if you are going to get your butt kicked by faster racers do the race.
