Wash but do not dry them and then when done, put newspapers or towels in to get water out as much as possible then if you have a boot warmer that dries winter boots or the like put them on that.
Works great for any wet and smelly bike shoes.
I wash mine 3-5x a year..after races when I pee on my bike for sure.
Running shoes go in wash machine don't dry them. Dishwasher / bike shoe thing works great. Running shoes accumulate a funk that defeats washing machines after a few washes. You'll get another month out of them after each wash, but the cumulative body of funk in the shoes will eventually take over... |
