fyi, the new model is a POS. I bought a couple for the hell of it when I bought a new iMac and both mine and the one I gave my wife has constant issues. It can't handle any moisture at all with the new headphones (which only Apple makes...hopefully soon to change).

I'd go buy the 2nd generation model over on Amazon or wherever for 45 bucks instead if I were you and pass on the 3rd generation for now.

Sorry for the rant...

I have a new iphone that I love and love the iMac, but have pretty much discarded the shuffle for a backup to my super old nano that I have...
