Uh, no - time to move on...  Too much there after 11 years - only pain lies down the path of FB friends...

I know someone whose husband 'friended' and ex on FB, only to have him come to her months later and admit they were talking about cheating on their respective spouses. The main reason they hadn't followed through is because they lived in different states, but were considering how to meet up until he started feeling guilty about the whole thing.

That's not to say this is how it is for everyone, everyone handles this stuff differently, but consider it a cautionary tale of how it _could_ go.

Depends on your boundaries. We all have different boundaries.

In the case of a former spouse, only if sufficient time has passed and you have arrived at a place where you feel kindly detached from that person (i.e. they no longer have the ability to push your buttons). Letting go doesn't happen when you stay involved, even virtually, in their lives.

In the case of a former boyfriend, no. I don't see the point of allowing them a window into my world. Your mileage may vary.

Maybe revisit the question 6 months from now, after you have had some time to sort yourself out a bit more? You don't have to make the decision today.
