The swim time was good, but it was difficult

This was my first open water swim ever.

Very nervous and went our way too fast. Wetsuit gave a feeling of breathing restriction.

Managed to get to front of pack quickly

Came out of the water exhausted and the transition did not help.
What would you do differently?:

Better pacing.

Terrible time getting wetsuit off. All the time gained on the swim was lost in the transition area and I got on the bike more tired than when I got out of the water. Not fun
What would you do differently?:

Practice, practice, practice. Good thing I didn't have a knife...the wetsuit would have come off a lot faster :-)

Exhausted from previous transition, and started off wobbly. First two laps had trouble getting breath back, but slowly redeveloped proper breathing pattern

Should have gradually got into cycling rythm
