Subject: Anyone use a Suunto T3, T4 or T6? - Gps unit question
I damaged my Polar Rs200 so I've ordered a Suunto T3c to replace it (poor service from polar so I'm switching, but that's another story)

Anyone use the T3/4/6 and the gps unit?

I ordered the T3c as it works with the bike pod and other add ons.
Now I'm thinking why get a foot pod and bike pod when the GPS unit seems to do it all, only problem is I can't see anywhere if it can log routes or if it's just relaying speed/position to the watch and the watch does the work.

I'd like to replace my battery hog pda  with this setup to log routes.

I have a T6, GPS Pod, and Bike Pod. Love it. I like having the Bike Pod as it's one less thin to wear when I ride as opposed to using the GPS Pod, which I use for runs.

I've got a T3 but haven't used any of the pods.   But I'm pretty sure all the GPS pod does is send distance & pace info to the watch, I don't think it does anything in the way of route logging.  I don't think it has any real navigation functions.
