I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could do a professional running shoes fitting test. I live close to Waterloo but I can drive around for a good store even if it's located in Toronto, London, etc.
As I already mentioned, most important thing is to find someone who really has a clue about it.
Not sure what you're looking for in a "running shoes fitting test"; are you trying to determine what type of shoe would suit you best (neutral, cushioning, stability) or are you looking for a gait analysis? Some stores will take a video of you running on a treadmill, others will watch you walk or jog and determine what type of shoe would be best. Many physiotherapists and chiropractors will do this service as well. There is a BioPed store in my town that I've heard good things about as well - but caveat - often these places are out to sell you custom ($$$) orthotics. http://www.bioped.com/locations/locations_index.asp?pv=on
RunningRoom stores are usually pretty good (NOT Sarnia) - London has some good peeps.
