Subject: RE: Training after being on your feet all dayJeepguy2358 - 2009-08-13 8:36 AM I was wondering how many people are on their feet all day because of their jobs, then try to get in their workouts. I am in this situation. Most of the time I can move around a workout if needed to schedule it on my day off or try to squeeze it in before work, but other times I have to suck it up. I was just curious what effect that had on your overall performance. Obviously swimming and biking aren't much of an issue, but it kills my run. You might consider orthotics. I got some a couple of years ago (I'm EXTREMELY flat-footed ) and it made a HUGE difference in how my legs felt at the end of the day. I haven't tried the store-bought kind, but the custom ones I got from the orthopedist ROCK! |
