I checked out the course last night for tomorrow's sprint.  Uh, who ordered hills be put in along Quincy? I hadn't been out to Aurora Reservoir in over 10 years and just assumed it was as flat as a pancake out there.  Hardly.  I didn't have my bike, I just went out there to swim, so I don't know how tough it really is.  How does it compare to the Tri the Creek course at Cherry Creek as far as difficulty?

Definitely hillier.  But use your downhills to help you on the uphill and it's not horrid.  But having done 2 events at Aurora Res (one with 2 bike legs) I have a love hate relationship with those hills.  I don't know the exact route at Tri the Creek but to me riding at Cherry Creek Res is pretty easy compared to the hills at Aurora.  But, no matter, you're going to have a blast tomorrow and just enjoy the ride!

Tomorrow's course is more challenging then Cherry Creek but on the positive side there are a lot more down hills to give your legs a break and make up some time as COskigirl said.  The climb back into the park often seems the most challenging. I am sure you will do fine. I will be out there also. Good luck and have a great race.

Did the olympic today- just remember that what goes up must come down. The downhills are a great recovery- and the uphills aren't monsters. Just have fun and enjoy the beauty out there. It's so pretty and fun! Have a great race.
