From spring to fall i play chicken with red winged blackbirds.  I have had them dive bomb my helmet while on the bike and come pretty close to being hit in the face by one while running.

According to my research, mad mama turkeys can run up to 35 mph. Apparently, I can run 36 mph when the need arises.
