So is there much of a difference between the books? Both are by Joe Friel and I already own the Triathlete's Training Bibile.  I find it very useful but wonder how much is duplicated in his Going Long book.  Is it worth getting?

I personally favor Going Long.  Going long gives a different perspective coming from primarily the viewpoint of Gordo Byrn.  Probably the best triathlon training book I have read.  For some reason, I really don't know why, but I just don't care for Friel's cycling or triathlon books.  It is something style wise that I don't care for, but many swear by them.  Going long is a great read.

I have read both and think they both have good points of view. I recommend you read both of them and see which one works  the best for you.
