I know of this one, but I am looking for one that will categorize the running distances a bit better.

You can also find running races on the Runner's World web-site. Race Directors have to list their races there, so it's limited to those races that RD's took the time to post there. There are some posted on the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) web-site as well. At least around here, the best source for local races are local race calendars put up by local running clubs and race organizers, so if you're looking for races close to home, look up those resources as well.
