Echoing what others have said, if you have no specific health problems, two years is more than enough time to finish an IM.  Based on my own experience: be careful with the running volume and use a foam roller regularly.

2 years!! Holy crap! If you are thinking about an ironman how can you wait 2 years! Sign up for florida and do it next year.  1 year is plenty of time...You might be slow, but you can get ready for about anything in a year.

That's just It.... I can't wait. My brother-in-law has more patience. Maybe he can sign up for the 1/2 and I can sign up for the IM.
