Subject: How Do You Keep The Noise Of The Trainer Down At 5am??
I'm starting to get some bike workouts in at 5am-7am in the morning.

It's quite loud and I don't want to wake up my house mates. We don't have a garage or anything so it has to be done in my room.

Any ideas?

If you don't have one already invest in a fluid trainer, they are the quietest out of the 3 main types (wind, magnetic, fluid) of resistance forms.

Other than that, there's not much else you can do besides join a gym that's open 24 hours or rent a storage unit that's open 24 hours that has climate control ;-)

What noise is the problem, is it vibration noise on the floor or it it the wheel noise on the trainer itself? if it is vibration you can put an aniti fatigue mat under the trainer and that deadens that noise alot.
