I was disapointed when I saw my pace. I thought I went faster than that but, then I seen most of the other ladies times were pretty slow as well so I think the coarse may have been long.

Post race
Warm down:

Walked to transition and got my stuff out before everyone else lined up to get in. The volunteers only let 2 people in at a time. Showered and had a snack and went back across the street and seen Steve come in on the bike and out on the run.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of OWS training.

Event comments:

I loved camping and being able to walk to transition and start/finish of the race from the trailer. We had a lot of fun and plan on doing this one again next year.

Congrats Karen on a GREAT race yesterday!!!  I'm glad you had a good swim, and the bike..Woot!  Very nice time!  And under 10 minutes miles too!  Isn't it funny how you think you are going so slow, and really the times are good?  It's that dead leg feeling off the bike...they just don't work right for a bit! Laughing

I can't wait till we do that oly together next year!

Hope we can get together soon to train, and congrats again on a great race girl!
