Comments: This race was just a bad idea. I have no business running a half mary 3 weeks after Ironman. Irregardless, I was there to support my sister. This was her big comeback race after giving birth in 2008. We ran together and she was a sport and waited for me. I felt pretty tired after mile 8 and was reduced to a run/walk effort. Around mile 10 I had major stomach issues which resulted in 2 stops to porta johns. Never recovered after that. I HTFU and ran to the finish. Just wasn't prepared or trained for this run. The longest run I had since IMKY was 3 miles. I didn't drink enough and had 2 gu's but they didn't sit right in my stomach. My time last year was 2:20! What would you do differently?: Be a spectator!
