Swim
Comments: Quite a wake up call! Besides all the kicking in the head and arms hitting me all over it was a great experience. I did a lot of training for this leg and I think it paid off. Cramps in both calves toward the end of the swim. Trouble getting out of the water. What would you do differently?: swim at a little faster clip. Transition 1
Comments: I was so out of it after the swim I put my running shoes on. Then realized what I had done and went to my bike shoes. What would you do differently?: transition faster Bike
Comments: My first biking segment, so I didn't know what to expect. A lot fun! Got passed quite a bit but held my own What would you do differently?: train more Transition 2
Comments: have to get used to the way I feel during the transitons. Legs were very wobbly and running on bike shoes very awkwerd. What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: felt good, since I have done four marathons I was confident in this segmenbt of the race. hard course, but I persevered. Post race
Warm down: Met up with my family and sat for a while. What limited your ability to perform faster: Inexperience Event comments: very very challenging race for such a short tri. They need better and more food for the end of the race. I loved the experience and I am now totaly addicted to this sport. By the way Marta is my wifes name. Last updated: 2005-05-23 12:00 AM
