Its funny, today, I got up, watched the beginning of the race, left the house, did some shopping, did some errands, spent all day away from home, finally ended the day, picked up some dinner, and came home just in time to see the men's finish. During my day, I kept thinking about the racers, in the time I was off doing errands, they were swimming, biking and running! I mean, thats just amazing!!! For these Agers that are crossing and the time is 10:10:02 (lets just say), do they take the 15 minutes off that they had to wait at the beginning for the pros to start before them or is that just part of the ironman time that they get? Does that make sense? |
