Well, don't hate me, because my feed didn't freeze...but I think I am watching it thru the Ironman site.  But CW did great.  And then rolled for Blazeman.  She was so emotional at the finish line.  It was so touching.

The ironman site's feed did not die, I have both up with one muted so I just switched to the site's feed which is seconds behind the other.

Glad they replayed it -- I was thinking they did it on purpose so we'd watch the tv version.

I tried to switch over to that when my feed died, and I got a message that the server was busy. Bummer. I should've had it opened earlier.

Yes, she broke woman's record.

They replayed the finish, I'm happier now.

But how would you like to be that pro male who had to walk around her victory roll over the finish line? He grimaced and waved when they said his name...

I think potts could do it! He came from 20th at the start of the run to 9th that is a hell of a thing after everything he has been through this year

As long as I didn't have to be as skinny as him, I would still love that accomplishment.  LOL  I guess I have lower standards though.  Laughing

If he doesn't like it, train harder and finish ahead of her or stay back and let her enjoy her win however she darn well wants. Boo, hoo!

You know I thought that after I posted it - most of the athletes in the race would be delighted! But I know it's different for the pros who train to win - and it was HER shining moment for sure.

Speaking of moments, BTer golilia finished the bike in 6:54:51 - bib# 1793.

Its funny, today, I got up, watched the beginning of the race, left the house, did some shopping, did some errands, spent all day away from home, finally ended the day, picked up some dinner, and came home just in time to see the men's finish. During my day, I kept thinking about the racers, in the time I was off doing errands, they were swimming, biking and running! I mean, thats just amazing!!! My hat goes off to all the racers...I mean, that's just so darn impressive!!

Okay...I have a random question since I have never done an ironman.  For these Agers that are crossing and the time is 10:10:02 (lets just say), do they take the 15 minutes off that they had to wait at the beginning for the pros to start before them or is that just part of the ironman time that they get?

Does that make sense?
