Pre-race routine:

Drove to Sheppard and Yonge. Got bag checked and then had a Tim's before meeting up with some people at the RR on Yonge.
Event warmup:

Walked to the start line.

The short version. Cold to start, especially standing around for 20 minutes at the start line. Good race. Had a good rhythm going until the 12K bathroom break, then lost it a little. Picked up the last 2K and finished in 2:08. Pretty happy with the time. Cold at the end too, trying to find bag check and exits.

Considering did 10K race day before in 53, was very happy with the time.

What would you do differently?:

Try not to do a Bathroom break.

Walked around and then walked to Yonge and Bloor subway.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bathroom break.
