Comments:

we started off great, it felt good to actually run (vs jog) but at abot 10:45 my knee went. usually I can just slow down, stretch my hip a little, and keep going, but this was the worst pain ever. So I walked the rest. I am seriously bummed.K did GREAT though, smashing her time from a month ago by 2 minutes. sigh. I really need to see a doc, bc this is ridiculous....
What would you do differently?:

uh, not run?

Event comments:

unbelievably well organized, smooth, timely, happy-- The Brat Fest was a hige draw for many, there was a little kids fun run that was soooo cute, and of course the full course was a Boston qualifier so there were many very fast and intense people which I liked.

I am going to go cry now.

I'm sorry your day didn't go as planned. Sounds like it is time to see a medical professional about your ITBS. Get well soon!
