I am 16 days out til my first IM and I have not planned that much for my transition bags. Is there a list or something I can follow to know what to stock in these bags. Please help.

I sure appreciate it. Do you bring the bags in the day before the race?

One more question. What is usually at the aid stations during the run?

You bring you T1 and T2 bags with your bike on Saturday. According to the race info you will have access too these bags the day of the race (in case you forget anything). Bring your special needs bags race morning.

Special needs bags are for anything you might want half way on the bike or run. Extra pair of socks, extra nutrition, an additional tube for your bike. Whatever you might need.

Page 11 of the IMAZ athletes guide has a lot of specifics. This is a great resource.

The answers to most of your questions can likely be found on the race's web site. Are you doing Ironman Arizona? If so, here is their athlete guide. http://www.ironmanarizona.com/athleteguide.php

The special needs bags and aid stations (you asked in another thread about this) are both addressed on page 10.
