Ken, too bad we missed you and Mrs. Ken.. Next year we should have a BT central tent near the finish where we could all hang out..

Oh.. btw.. what is the best way to get all this freakin sand off my running shoes?? just a water hose and a good drying? They are pretty nasty.

Wow, I really do look fantastic after a hard race.

Seriously, it was so nice to meet everyone and it was very nice for Angel to act as the BT photographer. Hopefully she'll be doing the race next year.

Michael, I found out about the toe incident from Charlotte Balfe at Schumpert. Apparently a racer approached the dismount line with his feet out of his shoes and went to swing his leg over his saddle to dismount. His big toe got caught in his spoke and he amputated his big toe. Several racers were held up as race officials looked for the toe. Hope the guy is okay.

*Note to self* Never try any of the fancy stuff. Just work on the engine.
