Comments: For the shape I'm in, I'm thrilled w/ my time. When I turned for the finish line and saw how close I was to being under 26:00 I tried to hammer to get there, but it wasn't to be. Can't have everything...where would you put it??! Also, I love running w/ the Garmin. It helps remind me of my current speed, so I don't go too fast at the beginning. Otherwise my mile splits would NOT be nearly as consistent as they were. What would you do differently?: Be healthy, have no shoulder problems, bunions or neuromas in my feet. ![]() Post race

Wake-up call wasn't bad since we live maybe 7 miles from the race site, so we didn't have to get up excessively early. Had some coffee, of course.
Just some light jogging. Not much endurance now-a-days, so I have to
walk that fine line between warming up my muscles and pooping myself out before the race!
