Pre-race routine:

This was my first race since my slipped disk, so I wasn't too worried about killing it. Additionally, the previous two weeks were spent in Italy so not a lot of training got done.
Event warmup:

I jogged about a half mile or so then headed up front so avoid the walkers.

Comments:

The first mile I eased into it. I ran the 2nd mile really hard to see if I had it today. I didn't, so I coasted in 2 minutes slower than last year.
What would you do differently?:

Not much. With my back and training level I was really happy with my time.
Post race
Warm down:

I laid in the sun waiting for my buddies and my wife to finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training and worrying about my back.

Event comments:

Always a good time at the Thanksgiving Day Race, and it was cool to be at the 100th. This year they had really cool technical t-shirts!
