Run
Comments: Started out pretty fast (about 7:30 minutes) for first mile, and then settled in closer to 8:30-8:45 miles. What would you do differently?: Ran nicely for the day. Did not push myself extremely hard, nor did I want to for this day and race. Post race
Warm down: Walked about 1/2 mile to find Matthew (still on the course). Had clam chowder and clam cakes - after race meal. Even read somewhere that clam/seafood chowder is a good and healthy post-race meal. What limited your ability to perform faster: Ice in few areas on course. Event comments: Took a while to get race results at end. Unusual in that most races have results being printed and posted fairly quickly at conclusion of race. Last updated: 2010-01-02 12:00 AM

Typical bagel, cream cheese and hard boiled egg. Also coffee.
Drove down to Bourne with Linda, Matthew and Sean (from CRR). Hung out inside the Weary Traveler building; stretched inside, and finally went outside about 10 minutes before start of race.
