Subject: Blog Background Image
Help!

I'm in the process of personalizing my dashboard and after I create a table and insert the desired image as my background (its showing up in the dashboard editor), I press the update dashboard button but the image DOES NOT show up on my homepage.  The image is a jpg, 800x560 I believe.  Are there size restrictions? 

Can someone help, please?  I'm confused why the editor would see and display it properly but then it doesn't show up...??

Is the image located on your computer? It has to be uploaded to the web to a place like our Albums first.

No, the image is located on another website. I'm copying the source url into the dashboard editor, and its seeing the image fine.  its just when i publish is that it disappears.  the image is 600k, i believe.  i think i saw in another thread that it can only be 50k?  does this sound right?

There's no size limit on linked images. The 50kb is just on avatars, because they get served so often in the forums.

What's the URL of the image you're trying to insert?
