Pre-race routine:

Got to the race site early and drove the course to refamiliarize myself. Set up transition area, got a good spot on the end and talked to friends that were there.

Put on wetsuit, after which I was warm. Swam about 200 yds, easy.

Have no idea of my time. A little trouble getting wetsuit off of my feet. Had to sit down, then it came off ok.
What would you do differently?:

Comments:

Bike felt good, pushed it a litte as I got a little pissed at myself. I forgot to have the computer on the correct settings and adjusted so that I could see my cadence. Well next thing I know the computer it gone!!!! I must have loosened it and away it went. Tried to keep HR around 150.
What would you do differently?:

Not loose my computer.

Comments:

T2 went smoothly.

Comments:

Good run, hard pace but good. Began to rain on us in the run and opened up w/ about a mile or so left, thunder, lightning, etc. Pretty good reason to push the pace a little.
Post race
Warm down:

Grab all my crap and get it under the pavilion since it was pouring!!!

Event comments:

Great race, laid back atmoshpere, good competitors and comraderie.
