I got that soap from the marathon packet pick-up, but I haven't tried it yet. It promises to be a wild time though, from what the promoters told me.

I'll be at the triathlon to cheer you kids on. Good luck!

yea, I went to their website and it says "If you tried SPARKE BAR at the SEAFAIR Marathon, click here and tell us what you think!!" but I don't remember seeing them there....anyway.....

man, this powder blue is going to clash hardcore with my red tri top....oh well!

Good luck tomorrow, everyone!

Relax.  There will be a LOT of beginners tomorrow I assure you.  Day St. isn't that bad just remember to shift into an easy gear before you start up it.  At Danskin last year everyone was just walking up it anyway.  Good luck!

My next race is Federal Escape Triathlon (sprint) on July 30.  Only two weeks away!  Yikes!

next? Chicago Triathlon :-D

apparently they're trying to make their claim of "world's largest triathlon" official by bringing guinness into it

from their site:
"2005 ACCENTURE CHICAGO TRIATHLON
TO SET GUINNESS WORLD RECORD!

With over 7,500 participants and 100,000 spectators, the Accenture Chicago Triathlon is known as the world's largest triathlon. This year it will become official with an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the World's Largest Triathlon. "

Yeah I did notice that.  Did you see the guy who swam the course in 6 min 28 sec?  That is a 44 sec per 100 yards pace!  I am betting he cut the swim short.
