Started the 20 week program a few weeks back but have spent this week pretty much out of action with a cold.  It has nearly cleared now so hoping to get some good long sessions in over the weekend and go from there.

Also, finally got around to booking acommadation...should have done that earlier in the piece!

How is everyone going with their training?

I seem to be going from injury to illness and back again.  I have a strained calf so can't run and can feel the beginnings of a cold coming on....

15 weeks or so out from the race and my confidence is very low at the moment.

No problems with illness or the like as yet touch wood.

Work has been really bad, have had to cut the 20 week program down to 16.  Noticing the time off over the last 5 months is affecting my sessions, but confident I'll be back faster and stronger than ever at Shep.

I must say that I have real lapses in confidence as well. My training is up and down but as my goal is to just get to the start line in one piece I should be ok. I keep forgetting that tho and then my confidence comes crashing down.
Today my energy levels are low so I cut my session short and just did what I could...I'll get there some how.
The thread on "Transisitions" regarding minimal training for IM sure help me get things in perspective!
Keep plugging away guys.

So far so good with training. Not 100% perfect all the time but my body is holding up which was always the big question.
I am getting anxious to start to log up some bigger k's for run and bike but know I need to just keep at it slowly and steadily if I want to get to the start line.

Read the thread just moved to Tri Gold from Otter, it's worth it to keep the motivation levels up

The minimum training for IM thread was great for the confidence...and anything Otter writes makes me realise how this sport is meant to be fun so that helps too.
