Quick inspection on the bike only looks like the rear wheel is broken, but I'll need to get a LBS to do a full check.

Been back to the fracture clinic today for a check-up and I've been told that the fracture has healed (any soreness/pain is due to soft tissue damage which will take a while more to heal) and can go back to "doing whatever you used to do". So, that's swimming back, just waiting on the insurance pay out to repair/replace my bike and I can start my winter maintenance plan!

Talk about dragging it out! Before the claim can go any further I have to see the insurance companies medical consultant, but they have booked my appointment on the 17th December!
Not sure I can cope with 3 months of no bike. Might have to see if I can spare the cash to buy the bike now til the payout is sorted
