Had my first tri today in Long Beach, CA and i had a blast, except for the swim where i had a panic attack

Congratulations!

The first time I did an OWS start... I thought I was going to drown, almost did the entire thing a mix between Tarzan freestyle and backstroke. It gets better

Glad it went well (besides that!) !

Staying busy here, and dreading the return to the treadmill and the trainer! Looking forward to a couple run/snowshoe races though and the return of ski season, woo hoo!!!

Skiing would most certainly be the end of me. Sad too, Ober Gatlinburg is in my back yard and I've never taken advantage of it.

I'm already back on the trainer... still not the treadmill though. I'll ride that out as long as I can haha.
