Agreed...we don't want to make it so that it takes five minutes to read the shirt!
No worries, I did this for five years, I won't overdo it. Oh yeah, and thanks for the beer, Max!!

Oh boy- i haven't checked this thread in awhile, but it was nice to come back and see an awesome t-shirt design!  I would love to have a t-shirt but I don't run in cotton- sorry, I'm a running snob.  I woudln't mind wearing the t-shirt around like before/after the race, at the expo, etc.  I am not good at doing stuff like this, so if you could take care of getting the t-shirts made, then I'd be more than happy to pay you.  Also, you could probably send the design to everyone who wants it put on other types of shirts/fabrics.  Just a thought.

Way ahead of ya there. My suggestion was to make the graphic available on my website, in a high-resolution format so you can print it out and do the transfer yourself, this way you could put it on any kind of fabric you want, or make more than one shirt (i.e. one to run in, one to wear before/after). I don't mind doing the printing and having y'all pay me for them, it's just that I can't do that for everyone, because the bill would become outrageously large after about 15 or so. I don't at all mind doing a few for those of us who don't have the time or resources though. No problem there. If I were to do everyone's shirt, I'd ask for the cash upfront so I don't max my credit card! LOL

We've got plenty of time to work it all out though, so no worries, we'll get it all set by the time the race comes around.

How do you fit a shirt in your printer? Mine at work only works with letter and legal sizes.

I'm a little late in seeing this thread - I'm planning on doing the 1/2. I like the shirt design! Agree with runnergirl about no cotton during the race though...

Good question.  When I tried it at my workplace, I kept getting an error message that read "PC Load Letter".

That's awesome!  I am thinking about getting the design put on a dry fit running tank.  It should be ok on that type of fabric right?  When I mean dry fit, I don't mean that polyester type fabric but dry fit that looks like a honeycomb type texture.

Yup, it should easily go on any fabric that won't melt under the heat of an iron for 30 seconds. Hey I just thought of another option too. If you want me to do the shirt, you can always go pick up whatever shirt you like, send it to me with a S.A.S.E., I'll print it, and then send it back to ya. Cuts down on costs and still helps those of us who'd rather not do it ourselves.

LMAO
PC Load Letter...What the F&%* does that mean
and for the record F150 I was joking about putting shirts in the printer. Where would you get the transfer sheets though? I have never used those before, do they iron on like my old Dukes of Hazzrd T-shirts? Do you need special Printer ink?

Now that's an idea!  looks like I need to go shirt/tank shopping!  I think that's the route I'll go!  Let me know when you're ready to get some shirts in the mail!

hey- I just got an idea. Max- what size would you need in a baby tee???  I was going to get you a baby tee to wear- maybe pink??   i thought it would go with well with your wig and high heels in the race.  Let me know about your size.  I figured you'd probably want an XL or XXL- that way you'd have extra room to stuff the "chest area."

Heheh...yeah it's all good. I was like "oh jeez he's gotta be kidding...oh crap but what if he's not...oh crap I hate this!!! " LOL

I love Office Space by the way, it's a daily "quote occurrence" here in HELL!!!!
Actually a bunch of us got hold of a printer the other day and had a little fun with it...only we didn't do it for real...but it was fun "pretending"!!!!

Sorry my sarcasm recognition software was offline today! LOL

LMAO...hey I'm not some sleaze-bag bimbo who runs around in a silicone stuffed DD cup. I got more self respect than that! Just count me as a simple perky C-cup gal guy who likes the admiring glances but doesn't want to deal with all the tongue-dragging perverts who love me just for my body!

A size LARGE in pink would be just lovely!

I've officially never run more than 6 miles, so we both got plenty of time.  Maybe we can pace each other

Sounds good! I just need to keep myself running and I may be able to do it. I have a 5K tomorrow then I will start upping my distance on the weekends.

Oh, and seeing Max run in a pink baby-tee might just be the push I need to make it to Tampa!

Ok, so I finally found the thread I'd heard about. I'm in for the half--it'll be my first. And, of course, I'm in for the party. The lengths I will go to to drink with you people, sheesh.
