I have only been on weekends.  Usually no problem, there are only 4 lanes and they get full occassionally - usual issues there - breast strokers taking up the lanes (i.e. no real sharing with free stylers).   Kids sometimes get in the way as they just see the lap lanes as more water - but I have only seen this a few times.  Overall not bad, could be an improvement over 24 but is not better than LA fitness.  I think they have limited lap swim hours during the week as well, check their website for availability.  NOTE - I expect the problems to get worse when school is out, but that is a guess.

OVERALL - as a triathlon workout facility:   meh....

I am there every morning when the doors open at 5am. The pool doesnt get to crowded , but you might have to pair up from time to time. never more than 2 to a lane though. Mondays are usually more busy than Weds or Fri mornings, and the afternoons are a little busier than the mornings but nothing crazy. I looked at both 24 hour and FAC when looking for a club and since my wife and son also use the club we found the family membership definitely is worth the price. the facilties are always clean, the staff is personable, and we enjoy it there. The workout center can get a little crowded in the afternoons (especially the cardio equipment) but that is probably the same at every gym at 5pm.

Only downside is that the lap pool is only open in the morning 3 days a week so you have to work your training around their hours sometimes and they dont open till noon on Sunday

I know you were not looking for suggestions but...

I live in Frisco as well but decided to join the Tom Muehlbeck center at Parkwood and Parker in Plano. Excellent facility with large lap pool AND leisure pool. Master's swim is great and reasonable. The only downside is no spin class. I work in Dallas so it made sense to me to join something halfway, it's only a 10 minute drive from my house.

The masters class at the Frisco ISD Natatorium might also be an option. I went pretty steady last summer and improved my swim times significantly. When I went, the Wednesday and Friday sessions with Coach Eubanks were the better workouts. A new downtown commute has gotten in the way of being there since.

I'm trying to find the pool hours on the page, but I'm not seeing it. Any ideas on when it opens/closes?
