First Tri ever for me, Boulder Sunrise sprint, also first OWS in a wetsuit, going to have fun and see how things happen etc. Good luck to everyone with thier races.
NW Novice - 2010-06-04 9:18 AM First tri ever, a sprint. Blue Lake in Oregon. http://www.racecenter.com/bluelake/Weather has caused lots of issues. All the grassy fields that have been used for parking in the past are so soggy that organizers are scrambling to figure out where to have people park and how to get them to the race site.
Me too. It'll be my second tri but first with an OWS.
I've got such a headache trying to figure out how to make my logistics work with this new parking set up! I live too damn far away to drive there today AND tomorrow (not to mention this pesky little thing called work...).
First tri of the year tomorrow (Sunday): Tri for Real oly outside of Sacramento.
The weather has been so crappy this year that I haven't been able to do an OWS yet and have only been on the bike outside 4 times. I've only run outside twice. This should be interesting...
vabeachnut1 - 2010-06-05 9:01 PM Breezy Point Tri in Norfolk tomorrow. It's hot as crap here! Heat index at 9 am is supposed to be 93 degrees. Important race for me. My first since prostate cancer surgery last November.
Doing Breezy Point as well... You ain't kidding about the heat. This is a bit nuts for this time of year lol. I got lucky and have the 2nd wave. Congrats on your recovery!
