Pre-race routine:

This was my second tri. I was surprised at how well this event was run. I think this is a perfect race for people just getting started in tris. A nice pool swim to start and well organized. The only part I didnt like about the tri was the transition area. It was mostly open to the public and didn't have anyone checking to make sure your bike belonged to you when you left so anyone could just go in and take what they wanted. But then again people around this area are trusting and have little need to worry about theft.

Forgot to take my feet out of my shoes. Stupid mistake that added a few seconds to my t2 time and almost made me fall over at the dismount line. OMG how stupid that would have been!

Not a great run for me. I was hot and couldn't stop thinking that I needed to do one more lap on the bike. For some reason I thought I only did 2 laps on the bike and was running for no reason.
