Comments:

My friend from VA invited me to run with him and his kids a week before the race. I had only run 5 miles once or twice since the 10K in March so my endurance was a little weak the last 2 miles. That mixed with the heat made for a miserable last mile.

Warm down:

I was feeling a little nauseous after the race so i grabbed a cup of water and found a shady spot to sit down. Felt better after a few minutes of cool rest.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of training and heat/humidity.

Event comments:

Great race for a good cause.
