Hmm, well this certainly piques my interest.  Thanks for posting! I'll probably dog paddle in last, but think it might be worth it to see just how far I have to go before Rev3.

This is a heck of a deal....two races for $20 if you register by mail or phone by July 1st (and are registered w/ USAT).  I'm excited, I think this will be a fun day.

I agree!  Gonna be great fun!  I'm using it totally as a "training" day.  I hope there's a good showing a folks so I'm not toddling in while everyone else already has their barbecues fired up

I just have to say, keep this one in mind for next year.  Just a wonderful event and worth the effort to test OWS.  Granted Thompson Lake was like a giant swimming pool this morning, hee hee, I mean, ME swimming 1:43 / 100 w/out really trying, that's hysterically funny.

Howell City Park is lovely, and Mike, Max and I hung around for lunch and more swimming and stick fetching.

Great fun, and more folks should check it out!

I agree with Andrea, this was a great race! It was well run and the venue was beautiful. Despite taking DFL in my age group for the 1 mile OWS  and DFL minus one  in my age group for the Aquathalon (nowhere to go but up, eh?), I had a great time.

I'll have this on my calendar for next year!
