Any good suggestions for cleaning the inside of your bike shoes. I go sockless, so they have absorbed alot of sweat and body oils. Thought ya'll might have some good solutions.
Thanks John

Hose them out, let 'em dry.

I also hose them down...but they take a while to dry unless I put them in the sun.  I've tried stuffing them with newspaper and that helps.  But I did have one situation where I hosed them down the night before, and they were still really wet the next day.

Take out insoles, wash them in top rack of dishwasher without any dishes but use soap, don't dry them.

Stuff newspapers in them to get water out, then if you are lucky put them on boot drier to dry them out. The boot drier works great for running shoes wet from race or rain. Really a great gift or thing to have for a triathlete.

No one uses Febreeze? Coming from hockey, me and Febreeze have a nice long relationship It's hard to stuff my goalie gear in the dishwasher, too

Better than newspapers, whether you hose them out or not: Find those sacks stuffed with cedar. They work forever.

Like these:

Though I assume that even a bag note cutely shaped like a foot would work.

I rinse them out and then put them upside down over an air conditioning vent.  I have a shelf that goes in my clothes drier that I could also use I suppose.  This reminds me that I have cleaned mine in a while... confession I put them on the air condition vent to also dry after some bike rides.  Same deal with my running shoes.
