Swim
Comments: 3 swimmers per lane placed by estimated swim time. I was third one in my lane and could not pass the 2 slower swimmers in my lane, could have cut 30-45s off my time. What would you do differently?: More agressive in my passing, make the others get out of my way. assert my will. Transition 1
Comments: T1 time included with swim split. transition was 1/2km from pool exit, lost some time putting shoes on out of pool for T run. carpet was over gravel and HS parking lot, Saw glass on the way into pool and I decided not to risk cutting feet. Bike
Comments: Bike was my strongest event. did not change out of shorts, brought tights just in case, deiced against it and I am happy with that. What would you do differently?: Need to tighten cleats before next race. left foot popped off twice. Transition 2
Run
What would you do differently?: eat better before the race. Post race
Warm down: easy jog back to truck with my gear and walk with my family while the rest of the pack finished up. What limited your ability to perform faster: wine the night before Event comments: I will be back next year FOR SURE. A great warm up for Father's day Brunch. Great scenery, Well organized and announced, prizes were above and beyond what I expected. Smith events does a great job on their events. Last updated: 2010-03-10 12:00 AM
