It was Tom Ryan. He was joking about the older male AG wave and how those guys were a catch for the ladies except that they might have more skeletons in their closet , like porn and drugs. It made me laugh but I totally agree that it was not the right place to make those colorful jokes since there were many kids present. I think Tom got a little carried away with all that disco regalia, he is a pretty nice guy otherwise.

I have a two-year-old that comes to watch her mommy race and there were a ton of other kids there. Talking about the guys warming up the water before the women race was just uncalled for as well. I'm not a prude, but I'm a mommy first - then a triathlete. Races should be family-friendly.


On that note, you should probably avoid me then because those kinds of jokes are right up my alley.

In an adult setting, I'm fine with it and probably would have even laughed- over a loud speaker in front of young children- not so much.
