Pre-race routine:

Took it easy during the day and tried to hydrate.
Event warmup:

Met my Chi running group. Should have jogged a bit but didn't =/

Comments:

First race on trails. Took a little getting used to the tree roots which were everywhere and figuring out how to pass on a narrow track. Rubbed my contact out of place at mile 2 so my depth perception was whack for the last mile.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder esp when we are going down hill and be more aggressive passing.

Warm down:

cheered on the rest of the Chi runners.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

It was a little hot and humid but better than the days previous.

Event comments:

Low entry fee and great raffle after.

Great job!  Trail running is such a different animal with those roots and such!
I am also blind with wacked out contacts, getting refocused ans staying upright is impressive work
